Lesbian rule
«Лесбосская линейка», т. е. любое правило, подвергающееся свободной интерпретации. Первоначально это была действительно гибкая свинцовая линейка, которая использовалась греческими каменщиками для измерений на острове Лесбос. Это выражение не имеет ничего общего с лесбиянством.
